250 USA #2: Yossi

This is Yossi — one of the first.

I met Yossi over 25 years ago. We lost touch, the way people do — until we kept running into each other, unplanned, multiple times over the last seven years; a real friendship formed.

He became a social worker years ago, choosing more security for his family and a chance to give back. He's a car guy through and through, and one of the most consistent supporters I have — always checking in, always asking how I'm really doing.

I took this opportunity to pour back into him.

Recently, he was handed a season of change — having to say goodbye that isn't a full goodbye. I wanted to play one song. One song led to another. Then another. A few moments of respite, nothing more, nothing less.
