Today, I learned what the horizon has to teach. The sun now descending to meet the horizon with the anticipation of a lover waiting to embrace her beloved. Time seems to stretch as the excitement of this heavenly rendezvous builds. Their meeting is fate playing out before my eyes. The energy in the air is palpable—emanating to all in view. Suddenly, the slow anticipation accelerates into a marvelous show. What was slow becomes fast! The horizon meets his beloved with open arms—intensification and contrast juxtaposing energies now in sync. Undeniable is their meeting—light from a faraway galaxy here entering my eye. I blink as I take in this miraculous moment. In a flash and a blink, the meeting is over. The horizon must let go—unable to contain the sun's energy. The horizon must let go—and submit to fate! Even though the sun is gone, a residual light lingers, soothing my soul. And the loss I thought would stay—dissolves into the twilighted sky. Today, I learned what the horizon had to teach—I let go. I tune into the rhythm of my soul as my heart opens to what’s next. The most courageous display ever displayed—fully accept, embrace, and love, knowing it will all change or fade. I discover love and gratitude in the midst of this seemingly grandiose loss that transports me to something ethereal; very few get to experience this! Today, I learned what the horizon had to teach. I sleep; the sun rises again—My soul flutters with fulfillment.
