My appreciation expands as my stream of thinking is interrupted by life unfolding before my eyes in each micro-moment. My awareness grows simultaneously as each passerby is oblivious to the miracles happening. I discover; the interruptions of life become the most joyous and fulfilling gifts: hearing the birds singing as they usher in a new dawn, a freshly brewed mug of coffee touching my lips, the noise of my feet touching the wooden steps as I carry my bike down the stairs once again, the smell of a new dawn, my glance up the the new day sky, the click of the bike pedals as I mount the bike, the hum of my tires as I start to roll, the breeze tickling my face ever so gently, the end of summer flowers flashing their radiant colors as if they will live forever, the milder rush of an August morning, a chance meeting with my neighbor at the gym that turns into comical endearing banter, a stop at the local coffee shop where the locals convene, observing the beautiful nature of each stranger I see when I peer beyond their hard surface, a second cup of java paired with a cinnamon scone as I sit in the window fully immersed in this life; my life, another familiar face with a pleasant exchange that fills me like the second cup of coffee, and the realization that this is the fulfilled life I sought. Inner appreciation abounds beyond words, and life is sweet—now pouring out; radiating out to all corners of the earth and the universe. The universe is within me, now recognizing itself in all things. Transcending the mind now, living from my heart and soul; a sojourn to a permanent home—back to who I truly am beyond all the societal noise. This moment is true! This moment is real! For when I am present and connected to my heart and soul, thousands are touched, welcome to this new day!
